Checking Process Instructions in the PI Assistant

Procedure

Choose

in the process instruction assistant.

The system checks the selected process instruction and displays how many information, warning, and error messages have been collected in the error log.

Choose

Log if required.

The log appears on which the following data is displayed:

The header data for the log in the upper screen area
The log messages in the lower screen area In accordance with their message type, they have the following icons:

Error

Use the following functions to analyze the log:

If you want to hide the messages of a particular type, choose the corresponding icon in the icon bar.

The symbol is then displayed in gray. To show the messages, you need to choose the icon again.

To display the long text for a message, double-click the message.
