Assigning Long Texts to Characteristics 

If a process instruction characteristic is marked with an L on the characteristic overview, you must enter a long text as the characteristic value.

Procedure

  1. On the characteristic overview, select the text characteristic for which you want to enter a long text.
  2. Choose Value.

The text editor appears.
  1. Enter text as required.

Note that paragraph and character formats are only taken into account in the browser-based PI sheet but not in the ABAP list-based PI sheet.
  1. Save your text.
  2. Choose to exit the text editor.
