Process Control Data Maintenance 

Purpose

When planning a process, you need to provide control information to supplement the planning data. Before order processing, the process instructions must be combined in control recipes and transferred to process control.

This section describes how you enter data required by process control while maintaining the master recipe.

Prerequisites

The following data has been created in the system:

Process Flow

  1. You assign the control recipe destination that controls the execution of the corresponding process step to the phases of your master recipe.
  2. You check which process instructions are automatically created when a control recipe for the corresponding control recipe destination is created in the process order.
  3. You manually enter all other process instructions for the phases requiring the information for execution. You specify the following, for example:

You maintain process instructions as follows:

If you use the process instruction assistant, you will be guided through process instruction definition by specific prompts. The characteristic structure is created by the system.

If you maintain your process instructions on the characteristic overview, you must create the characteristic structure yourself.

  1. If you have created process instructions for the R/3 PI sheet, you check the PI sheet as described below and correct errors:
  1. You save the master recipe.
