Creating PRTs with PRT Master Records (Miscellaneous) 

  1. In the SAP menu, choose Logistics ® Production Process ® Master Data ® Production Resources/Tools ® Production Resources/Tools ® PRT Master (Misc.) ® Create.
  2. Enter data as required and choose .
  3. If you have entered a template to copy from on the initial screen, select the data to be copied and choose .
  4. Enter the relevant data on the Basic Data screen.
  5. Choose Defaults and enter the default values for the assignment of the PRT to operations and phases.

In case you want to take particular properties of the PRT into account in the formulas for total quantity and usage value, define these properties as formula constants for the PRT. To do this, choose Extras ® Formula constants.

In production planning for process industries (PP-PI), the default values are transferred to the master recipe for information purposes. Since PRTs cannot be used in the process order, they do not have any functional significance.
  1. Enter additional texts for the production resource/tool if required.
  1. Save the PRT.
