Using inspection characteristics in the recipe, you identify the objects for which an inspection is to take place and how this inspection is to be performed. The system distinguishes between qualitative inspection characteristics (for example, the color of the product) and quantitative inspection characteristics (for example, the density of a material).
In the master recipe, you create inspection characteristics for the operations and phases for which the inspection is to be carried out.
