In Customizing for Resources under Define Default Work Center, you can create a default resource for each resource category in the plant.

When you create a resource, data from the default resource that was created for the resource category in the plant is automatically copied.

The correct settings in the default resource reduce the amount of effort required to create resources.

Default resources are only used to set default values. They are not identified using a resource key.
