Archiving Resources

Use

The archiving object PP_WKC is used to archive and delete unused resources and assigned capacities.

In the archiving run, the system archives and deletes resources irrespective of a deletion flag. Deletion flags can be used to select resources.

The following objects are not deleted after archiving has been successfully carried out:

Resources assigned to logically deleted objects that physically still exist on the database (for example, operations)

Pooled and reference capacities

Procedure

Choose Resources ® Environment ® Archiving.

The Archiving Work Centers screen appears.

Choose Archiving.

The Archive Management: Create Archive Files screen appears.

Enter a variant with whose parameters you want to start the archiving program.

Standard settings for archiving are already defined in the system. If you want to change the general settings for archiving, choose Customizing. In the dialog box that appears, choose Technical settings.
