Classification of the Resource  

Use

To be able to locate a resource via the class, the resource must first be assigned to a class. You can assign specific characteristics to a class, which are then valid for all resources in this class.

Attributes of Classified Resources

Classification is taken into account when you select resources in the process order.

You can also valuate characteristics of operations in the process order automatically, using characteristics of resource classification.

Prerequisites

To assign a resource to a class, the class must be defined in the classification system.

Activities

  1. Create the class to which you want to assign the resources.
  2. Assign your resources to the class.
