Copying Resources  

Use

You can copy existing resources to change resources or create new resources. The data from the reference resource is copied to the new resource where it then can be changed.

Entering the Reference Resource on the Initial Screen

  1. On the initial screen in resource maintenance, make entries in the Plant and Copy from resource fields.

    2. The system offers data from the reference resource to copy to the new resource.

  2. Select the data you want to copy.
  3. Choose .

Entering the Reference Data on the Tab Pages in Resource Maintenance

  1. On one of the tab pages, choose Edit ® Copy from.

The system displays a selection of data that is valid for the current tab page.

For example, if you are on the Default Values tab page, only the default values from the reference resource are proposed.

Existing data is overwritten with the data from the source.

You can change this data afterwards.
  1. Select the data you want to copy.
  2. Choose .
