This function is used for the following purposes:

• To display the full assortment listed in a store.

• To display master data information on each article.

You can use this function to display your store assortment at any time. You navigate in this function using the assortment list structure. You can see all the article master data relevant for a particular store. This information is displayed according to merchandise categories, vendors or layout, depending on your assortment list Customizing settings.

Intranet component

This function requires a full version or a merged version of a SAP assortment list. SAP delivers structure WBBP_STORE as default for assortment lists. If you define your own structure, you can only use fields that appear in structure WBBP_MAX.

You can use SAP authorization control to prevent unauthorized employees from executing this IAC.

You can make the following settings and define the following data in Customizing:

• Grouping assortment lists (for example, by merchandise category)

• Sorting assortment list items (articles)

• Fields within an assortment list item (articles)

You set these controls in Customizing for the assortment list. You enter the Customizing settings at site and assortment list level.

The Assortment List IAC is similar to the standard SAP Display assortment list functionality. The two sets of functions differ, however, in terms of navigation and grouping.

In both cases, you can only display an assortment list if you have previously prepared a full version (initial version) or a version on a particular key date.

You can select the appropriate store assortment by entering a date and assortment list type. You then see the whole assortment, sorted according to various criteria. The system displays the articles you are able to order, as well as a wide variety of information on each article (for example, texts, prices, EAN/UPC, vendor).
