Requirements

You have defined a stock determination strategy.

You have assigned the appropriate stock determination group in the material master record for the materials concerned.

You have already created the stock determination rule that you want to assign to a movement type in the step Define strategies for stock determination .

If you have included the withdrawal of consignment and pipeline material in your plans for the stock determination strategy, you must maintain the purchasing info records pertaining to it.
