Available capacity which, if activated, is used by scheduling and capacity requirements planning in place of the standard available capacity.

You use a version of available capacity when you want to describe available capacities that deviate from the standard available capacity. For example, you use a version of available capacity when the available capacity depends on the day of the week or is to be distributed among several shifts.

You create a version of available capacity in Customizing.

When you create the version of available capacity, its available capacity is first identical to the available capacity of the standard available capacity. However, if you want to create an interval of available capacity in the version of available capacity, the available capacity of the standard available capacity is replaced by the available capacity of the newly created interval of available capacity for the validity period of the interval of available capacity.
