Article and Site Group Dimensions 

Use

To create a promotion or an allocation table, the interface must receive information about where the articles, site and site groups to be used come from. This information is provided by assigning dimensions to the interface.

There are two possible methods of assigning dimensions:

Break-downs are used if planning is not run directly on article or site group level. Therefore, planning characteristics that are not exactly suitable cannot be used as dimensions.

Before doing this, you MUST have already defined a Break-down.

Grouping break-downs or characteristics are assigned to planning interfaces in Customizing for the planning step in question in MAP.

The following dimensions are required, depending on the interface category and the type of assignment to be used:
