Creating Restrictions for a Field Object 

Prerequisites

You have created an interface format.

You are in the tree structure and all table objects are displayed with all field objects.

Procedure

  1. Place the cursor on the selected field object.
  2. Choose Restrictions.

    3. You access the Restrictions for <name> dialog box.

  3. If you have already defined restrictions for the field object and want to insert more restrictions, choose New line.
  4. Enter the restrictions.

    5. Several entries for a field object are linked implicitly with the logical operation OR.

  5. Choose Transfer.
  6. Save your entries.

Result

You have created a restriction for the selected field object.
