Creating Projects Using Structure Planning

To create a project using structure planning, proceed as follows:

From the Planning area menu, choose Project ® Structure planning ® Create proejct.

The Create project dialog box appears.

Maintain the data in the dialog box.

You can use an existing project or a standard project as a template.

The screen Change: Structure Planning appears.

Maintain the data for your project.

You maintain WBS elements using the WBS basic data tab page, which takes you to the WBS element overview.
You maintain activities and activity elements using the Activity data tab page; this takes you to the activity overview.

The WBS elements, activities, and activity elements are created.

You cannot create subnetworks in the WBS, though you can have the system indicate whether an activity has subnetworks.
