Copying Project Objects 

Use

In your current project you can use WBS elements, activities, activity elements, and milestones as templates for new project objects and copy them in the project.

Copy WBS elements

Select a WBS element in the table area and choose

or in the context menu choose Copy.

Then choose .

In the context menu choose Paste.

Copies one or more WBS elements from the current project as new WBS elements to a new position. To insert a WBS element, select another WBS element.

Copy activities

Select an activity in the table area and choose

or in the context menu choose Copy

Then choose .

In the context menu choose Paste.

Copies one or more activities in the current project to a new position. To insert an activity, select a WBS element.

You can also copy assignments to an activity with the activity (e.g. long texts and milestones). However relationships are not copied.

Copy activity elements

Select an activity element and choose

or in the context menu choose Copy.

Then choose .

In the context menu choose Paste.

Copies one or more activity elements in the current project to a new position. To insert activity elements, select an activity.

Copy milestones

Select a milestone and choose

or in the context menu choose Copy.

Then choose .

In the context menu choose Paste.

Copies one or more milestones in the current project to a new position. To insert a milestone, select a WBS element or activity.

After you have inserted copied project objects, you can delete them from the project structure by using the Undo function. Choose or Undo in the context menu.
