When you create activities in graphic mode, you can insert them in the precise location you want in the network structure.. The system uses the type of relationship that you defined in the Settings menu for the new activity.

2. Choose Insert activity.

3. Click on an activity in the node area that you want to create.

4. Move the activity to the desired position in the network.

5. Double click the activity.

6. Maintain the data for the activity on the detail screen. Choose Continue to return to the network graphic.

7. Create additional activities.

9. Save your data.

1. Call up the activity overview.

5. Choose Continue. The activity is deleted.

Activities are displayed in the network graphic as follows:

• Activities from external networks have a dashed black border
• Activities in the network you are currently editing have a solid black border
• Activities which are partially confirmed have a diagonal line through them
• Activities which have final confirmations are crossed out
• Activities which have milestones, materials, subnetworks, documents and activity elements assigned to them, are identified by a color border. In the standard configuration, all indicators are the same color. You can change the colors in customizing.
• Activities in a subnetwork or a standard network alternative are displayed in a frame.
• Subnetworks or standard network alternatives are displayed in a frame.
• You can collapse the activities inside a frame or the frame itself.
