Maintaining Activities on the Activity Overview 

You can create additional activities and activity elements in a network or standard network that already exists.

Procedures

Creating Activities

  1. In the initial screen for networks or standard networks choose Activities.

    2. The activity overview appears.

  2. Enter the data for the activities.
  3. Select an activity.
  4. Choose Detail ® Activity/Element ® General.

    5. The detail screen for the activity appears.

  5. Enter the necessary data.
  6. Choose Continue.
  7. Save the network.

Creating Activity Elements

  1. Call up the activity overview.
  2. Select an existing activity and choose Activity ® Element overview.

    3. The overview for activity elements appears.

  3. Enter the data for the activity elements.
  4. Select an activity element.
  5. Choose Detail ® Activity/Element ® General.

    6. The detail screen for the activity element appears.

  6. Enter the necessary data.
  7. Choose Continue.
  8. Save the network.

Inserting Activities or Activity Elements

You can create additional activities or activity elements for an existing standard network and network.

  1. Call up the overview for either activities or activity elements.
  2. Position the cursor on an activity or an activity element.
  3. Choose Edit ® Object ® Insert.

    4. The system creates a new line above where the cursor is.

  4. Enter the necessary data.
  5. Save your data.

Deleting Activities

After you delete an activity and save the (standard) network, the system automatically deletes all activity elements, milestones, production resources/tools, and material allocations for the activity.

Always proceed as follows when deleting:

... In a Standard Network

To delete activities from a standard network, proceed as follows:

  1. Call up the activity overview.
  2. Select the activity or the activities you want to delete.
  3. Choose Edit ® Object ® Delete.

The activity is deleted.

... in a Network

Before you delete activities from a network, you should pay attention to the following:

To show or hide the activities with the status Deletion flag in the respective activity list, choose Edit ® Object ® Display deleted ® On/Off.

To delete activities from a network, proceed as follows:

  1. Call up the activity overview.
  2. Select the activity or the activities you want to delete.
  3. Choose Edit ® Object ® Delete.
  4. Save your data.
