Printing Directly from Networks 

All list types defined in Customizing for the corresponding network type, plant, and MRP controller can be printed within network processing.

Prerequisites

The following prerequisites must be met, to print lists for activities and activity elements:

  1. If the parameters have been set in Customizing so that the control key for the activities is checked when lists are being printed, then you must check the control key for each activity to see whether it allows you to print activities, time tickets and confirmation slips.

    2. If the Customizing parameters do not specify a check on the control key, neither the control key nor the status is checked. In this case, the system does not set any print statuses.

  2. The status of the network and the activity must allow printing of lists.

The printing of individual activities in a network is allowed if:

If the network status does not allow printing, no lists are printed. If the network status allows printing, lists are printed. However, if the network contains activities whose status does not allow printing, these activities are omitted from the list.
  1. If you want to print time tickets or confirmation slips, the number of time tickets or confirmation slips in the activity must be larger than zero.

The number of time tickets or confirmation slips is a default value you defined in the work center. It can also be entered by choosing Details ® Activity/Element ® General and the tab page additional data.

 

Whether components or production resources/tools are printed on a list depends on the status of the activity to which they are allocated. If the activity can be printed, the allocated components can also be printed.

Phantom assemblies cannot be printed.

Procedure

To print from a network, choose:

If you do not want to print all the list types allowed, you can limit the number of lists to be printed for a network by selecting the menu options: Network ® Print ® Print settings ® List control.
