If you assign a network header to a WBS element and have not yet specified a project definition, the project definition will be copied automatically when the assignment is made.

To be able to assign a network to a WBS element, you must first identify the WBS element as an account assignment element.

The WBS element is copied into all activities and activity elements as a default value. You can also assign activities to other WBS elements in the activity overview.

The WBS element is only copied into all activities if you create the network or activities.

Dates From the Project Definition/WBS Element

The dates from the project definition or the WBS element are copied into the network header as follows.

If you entered a project definition and a WBS element the date from the WBS element are used.

If the WBS element does not have a start or finish date, the system copies the dates from the superior WBS element or the project definition into the network header.
