You can only delete WBS elements as long as there have been no postings or allocations to other objects, such as an activity being allocated to a WBS element, or a purchase order has been created. Subordinate WBS elements will also be deleted.
The selected WBS element is deleted from the list.
For all other system statuses, you have to set a deletion flag for the WBS element. The WBS element will be deleted in the next archiving run.
The WBS element is now marked for deletion.
You can remove the deletion flag by choosing Edit
® Status ®
WBS elements which have been marked for deletion, that is, a deletion flag has been set, will not be displayed in budget management, cost planning or time scheduling.
Displaying Deletion Flags
You can show or hide deletion flags by choosing Edit
® Object ® Deletion flag ® Display or Hide.
