Adding WBS Elements

Use

You can add new WBS elements to an existing work breakdown structure with either the insert or create command.

When you insert WBS elements, the system creates new lines above where the cursor is positioned in the WBS element overview.
When you create WBS elements, the system adds new lines at the end of the WBS element overview.

Procedure

Call up the work breakdown structure you want to add to by selecting the menu options Operative structures ® Work breakdown struc ® Change.

The system creates new lines.

Maintain the description and the level in the hierarchy for the WBS element and confirm your entries.

The system displays a dialog box which you can use to search for the next free number .
