Maintain Print Indicator for GI/Transfer Posting Documents

In this step, you assign movement types a print indicator used to print goods-accompanying slips (GR/GI slips).

Default settings

The movement types for which a goods-accompanying slip can be printed are assigned the following print indicators in the standard R/3 System:

• 1 for goods-accompanying slips (goods issue/transfer postings)

• 3 for goods-accompanying slips for material provided to subcontractors

SAP Recommendation

SAP recommends that you accept the settings defined in the standard system. In this case, no action is required on your part.
