Define
Condition Lists
In this step, you define the screen layout for
condition lists. The latter enable you to analyze and evaluate condition
records according to a variety of criteria. Technically, condition lists are
ABAP programs.
Note
The standard SAP System contains predefined
condition lists which you can generate via the application menu.
Activities
1. Check the
extent to which you can use the condition lists supplied in the standard SAP
System.
To do so, display
the predefined condition lists.
2. Create new
condition lists. Proceed as follows:
a) Enter the
title of the condition list you wish to create.
b) The
subsequent data screen contains all the key fields used in the area of the
conditions in alphabetical order. Choose all the key fields that are to be
taken into account in the condition list.
c) Choose
Edit -> Selec. tables. A dialog box appears, in
which you can specify your choice of condition tables.
If you choose "Yes",
only those condition tables that contain all selected key fields are
evaluated.
If you choose "No",
all those condition tables that contain at least one of the selected key
fields are evaluated.
d) On the next
data screen, select all the condition tables that are to be
evaluated.
e) Choose
"Position fields" to define the screen layout of the condition list. Note that
the subsequent data screen contains all the key fields of the selected
tables.
You can suppress
fields that are not to be used as selection criteria when the list is later
displayed by cancelling the indicator in the "Selection" column .
f) Choose
"Form" to specify the display of scales or validity periods for the condition
list.
