Processing original files

Definition

For a distribution type, definition of how the original application files are to be processed.

Use

There ae the following options:

Value 1 - References to the document info records are processed

Example: For distribution type RML, the document info records are sent as an attachment to a SAPoffice mail.

Value 2 - Original application files are temporarily stored on the application server

Example: If you send an original aplication file as an attachment to a SAPoffice mail, the original files are copied to the application server.
You make settings for the application server in the work step: Maintain file names and file paths independently of client.

Value 3 - Transfer to the chosen computer

The original application files are copied to the computer that has been defined for this communication type.

In order to be able to process the original application files, the output system (for example, plot management system) must be able to access this directory. The original application files are transferred using DVA (Direct Vault Access).
You must enter the following data:

DDS computer and path

DVA user (vault) and password
