Requirements Planning for Perishables
This step contains the main settings for requirements planning for perishables.
The center piece of planning requirements for perishables is the assortment list.
You must define an
assortment list type and
assortment list profile.
The information structure S160 is relevant for
requirements planning for perishables. This is activated in step
Activate update . This results in POS sales data, store orders
and vendor purchase orders being updated.
Whether info structure S160 is updated depends
on the material type. This is defined in the step
Define attributes of material types.
You can activate SAPphone as a communication
interface in the step
SAPphone: system-wide settings.
You make the settings required for store orders
in the step
Store order control.
If you usecross-docking, note the required
settings in
Merchandise Distribution.
Requirements
Your R/3 System is configured as an
Recommendation
Activate information structure S160 to support
the perishables process.
The period split for information structure S160 must be set to "Day".
Information structure S160 should be archived regularly.
Information structure S160 is only updated if the material type ID in the material type is "4".
The assortment list profile must contain the structure "WBBP_WDFR".
