Use
To simplify the maintenance of master recipes and process orders, you can enter default values for certain operation, phase, and secondary resource fields in the resource master record.
Features
Some of the default values you can maintain include:
Referencing Default Values
You can set a reference indicator for each default value of the resource to specify whether the default value is referenced in the recipe. This implies the following:
The default value can only be changed in resource maintenance and not in the recipe.
Changes to the default values in the resource are automatically transferred to the recipe.
If you delete the reference indicator in resource maintenance, the default value can be changed again in the recipe.

If you change data in resource maintenance, only the data that has the reference indicator set is changed in the recipe. The data is updated when you call up the recipe again.

Reference indicators are automatically set for the performance efficiency rate key.
Standard Text Key
You can use the standard text key to have a standard text, which has already been created for common process descriptions, suggested for the operation. You can edit standard texts in resource maintenance (Environment ® Standard text) and in recipe maintenance (See:
Editing Standard Texts).
