Define Stock Management Levels

When creating an inventory sampling, the user has to specifiy the stock management units that are covered by the given inventory sampling. This allocation of stock management units to an inventory sampling is carried out through stock management levels.

Under this menu option, you define the stock management levels that can be selected when creating an inventory sampling. These specifications only apply to inventory sampling in the Inventory Management area.

Actions

Define the stock management levels for which inventory sampling is allowed.

• If new plants, storage locations, or material types have been added since last changing the setting, you first have to generate a new list.

• In the Stock type column, you define for which stock inventory sampling is allowed to be carried out.

• Using the Group column, you can combine different stock management levels in one group. When creating an inventory sampling, the stock management levels can then be selected through the group.
