Workload Management for ClaimsLocate this document in the navigation structure

With the transactional app Workload Management for Claims, you - in your role as the head of a claims department - can view the workload of your team members with regard to the assigned open claims. If necessary, you can transfer one or multiple claims from one employee to another within your own organizational unit or even in a different organizational unit. The app also shows the current availability of the employee.

Key Features
  • The overview list shows you all employees in your own organizational unit. For each employee, you can see the number of open claims assigned to this employee.

  • The overview list shows if the employee is available today.

  • When you select an employee, the detailed view shows all claims of the employee with the most important claim data such as claim number, claim status, number of days that a claim has been open, and loss date.

  • For each claim you can also view other claim data such as cause of loss, total claim expenditure, policyholder, and incident type. There are separate tab strips for the assigned subclaims and tasks.

  • For each employee you can use a calender to view his or her availability. Depending on the output device, availability is displayed for the current month and the next month (desktop, tablet) or only for the current month (smart phone).

  • For each employee you can view a business card with important employee data such as telephone number and e-mail address. To view this, click the employee's name in the detailed view.

Depending on the output device you can start a telephone call or send an e-mail directly from the business card.

    Note

The employee data on the business card is user master data taken from the R/3 backend system.

  • You can transfer one or multiple clams from one employee to another. To do so, select the required claims and then choose Transfer.

On the next screen, you see a list of proposed employees in your own organizational unit. You can also use the search function to select an employee from a different organizational unit and transfer the claim or multiple claims to this employee.
