Before you can start to implement the app, ensure that your system landscape has been set up to enable SAP Fiori and that this system landscape already includes the front-end components and back-end components for your app:

The apps of SAP Smart Business for SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization do not use the KPI modeler.
The Demand Waterfall Analysis
analytical app uses an app launcher tile to launch the app.
For Demand Waterfall Analysis
, the following SAP Notes must be available:
The following sections list tasks that have to be performed to implement the Demand Waterfall Analysis
app. The tables contain the app-specific data required for these tasks.
You can find the data required to perform these tasks in the SAP Fiori apps reference library at https://fioriappslibrary.hana.ondemand.com/sap/fix/externalViewer/index.html?appId=F0578.

The SAP Fiori launchpad is the entry point to SAP Fiori apps. From a user perspective, it displays those SAP Fiori apps that have been assigned to the catalog designed for this user's role.
This presupposes that an administrator has made the necessary assignments in the launchpad designer to enable a user's access to the respective SAP Fiori apps in the SAP Fiori launchpad. For more information, see Setup of Catalogs, Groups, and Roles in the SAP Fiori Launchpad.
SAP delivers technical catalogs for groups of SAP Fiori apps as repositories to create your own catalogs in the launchpad designer. Along with these catalogs, more technical content is delivered for each SAP Fiori app. You can find the delivered technical content for each SAP Fiori app in the SAP Fiori apps reference library.
To ensure that snapshots of your planning data are available for the analysis, implement the following steps:
Make an initial upload of snapshots
If you have snapshot data available in an external system, create a CSV file from the data and upload the content of the file to the fact table of your replication model. For more information, see Data Provisioning Using Table Import
in the SAP HANA Developer Guide on SAP Help Portal at .
Note
When creating the CSV file, fill the Snapshot ID
column as follows:
If your replication model is based on a data view with a weekly periodicity, the snapshot ID should have the following format: W<year><calendar week (01-52)>
For example, the snapshot ID for year 2014, calendar week 25 should be W201425.
If the data view has a monthly periodicity, the snapshot ID should have the following format: M<year><month (01-12)>.
For example, the snapshot ID for April 2014 should be M201404.
Generate further snapshots as needed by running the Manage Snapshots for Demand Waterfall Analysis
report. You can access the report on the SAP Easy Access
screen under .
