Key Features

Map Display

In the Site Locations tile, you can find a map for displaying sites (stores or distribution centers) based on geolocation data and geocoordinates (latitude, longitude).

Sites that are assigned to an article are displayed as pins. The geocoordinates are based on the address data entered for the site in the site master. The relevant sites for an article are determined using the data in table MARC (Site Data for Article).

The pin representing the first site that is found is situated in the center of the map, and in first place in the Logistics View tile. If there is enough space for nearby sites to be displayed, they are also shown on the map. Otherwise, only one pin is displayed.

Navigation

  • Click a pin to display additional data for the selected site. Different information is displayed depending on whether you are using the article, site, or allocation table fact sheet.

  • To close the popup window, click the Cancel pushbutton at the top right. Alternatively, if you click a different pin, the pin currently being displayed is closed.

  • To zoom in or out of the map, you can use the scroll wheel on your mouse, or you can use the zoom bar, which is located at the top left of the map. To move the map around, you can use the four arrow buttons on the navigation icon (top left of the map), or you can use the mouse (click and hold left mouse button, then drag).

  • To navigate to the first site sorted by name (HOME function), double click the center of the navigation icon. The pin for this site is then displayed in the center of the map.

Navigation for mobile end devices (tablet, smart phone)

  • To center the display on the first site in the list of hits, choose the HOME pushbutton.

  • To zoom in or out of the map, use the + / - pushbuttons (alternatively, you can use pinch and spread gestures on the touchscreen).

You can move the map around by dragging it with your finger.
