Role Role: SAP_SFIN_BCR_SALESMANAGER

 

The task of a sales manager is to monitor, manage, and optimize sales and margins in his or her territory. Sales managers need to keep discretionary spending at or below budget and contribute to reducing days sales outstanding (DSO).

Activities

Typical activities of this role are as follows:

  • Approve time off, invoices, and travel expenses

  • Track sales and manage margins for sales territory

  • Monitor information that is relevant to key customers

  • Optimize the sales team and assign sales people to customers

  • Keep an eye on DSO

  • Ensure that 3rd party suppliers are paid in a timely manner
