Use

Each SAP Fiori app consists of front-end components (such as the user interfaces) and back-end components (such as the OData service). This product contains the back-end and front-end components of a bundle of SAP Fiori apps in separate instances. You have to install these instances on the respective server (front-end or back-end server).

Prerequisites

Before you install SAP Fiori transactional apps for SAP CRM, ensure that your system landscape has been set up to enable SAP Fiori and that the corresponding back-end components of the delivered apps are already available on your back-end server:

For the apps delivered with this product, you have to install the following instance contained in the SAP Fiori product:

  • SAP CRM 7.0 SPS 6 or higher

  • SAP enhancement package 1 for SAP CRM 7.0 SPS 3 or higher

  • SAP enhancement package 2 for SAP CRM 7.0 SPS 1 or higher
Note

If you wish to implement the apps (software component UICRM001 100) based on SAP enhancement package 3 for SAP CRM, the back-end components of the apps are automatically contained in the back-end product.

Installation of Front-End Components

With this product two software components are delivered containing different versions of app front-end components:

  • UICRM001 100 (recommended)

    This software component is the recommended software component for implementing the front-end components of the contained apps.

  • UIX02CRM 100 (deprecated)

    This software component is deprecated. Instead, we recommend to implement the software component UICRM001 100.

Note

If you have already implemented the deprecated software component UIX02CRM 100, we recommend that you switch to the component UICRM001 100.

Depending on the SAP Fiori apps you wish to implement and on the SAP NetWeaver version on your front-end server, you have to install the following instance contained in the SAP Fiori product:
