Maintenance Object Damage Locate this document in the navigation structure

You can use the query view MaintenanceObjectDamageQuery (Damage, cause and activity data for maintenance notifications) to simultaneously analyze damages, causes and related activities for maintenance notifications.

The damage description refers to the values of the damage or malfunction in the maintenance notification, in other words, to the damage, cause of damage, and activity. These values are identified by particular codes, which in turn are grouped into code groups. The codes ensure that the same content is always entered in the same format, and can be usefully evaluated.

Example Example

You want to display the damages of monitors used in your company, find out damage causes and analyze the related activities.

For more information about this query, see Example: Maintenance Object Damage.

Further business questions could be:

  • Did some causes occur more often than others?

  • What were the most common damages for a specific piece of equipment?

  • What were the most common activities carried out for a specific damage?
