Procedure documentationManaging RFC Destinations

 

You define remote function call (RFC) destinations from the ABAP front-end server to the ABAP back-end system(s). Additionally, define an RFC destination that has the front-end server itself as target for local RFC calls.

Prerequisites

You have created the trusted relationship because the back-end servers must already trust the front-end server. For more information, see Connect SAP Gateway to SAP Business Suite (Trusted RFC).

Procedure

  1. In Customizing for SAP NetWeaver, choose Start of the navigation path UI Technologies Next navigation step SAP Fiori Next navigation step Initial Setup Next navigation step Connection Settings (Front-End Server to ABAP Back-End Server) Next navigation step Manage RFC Destinations End of the navigation path.

  2. Define the required RFC destinations.
