You can use the query LocationAndPlannerGroupQuery (Maintenance order or maintenance notification data by location and planner group) to analyze information about maintenance orders and maintenance notifications for specific planner groups and locations, for example, maintenance plants, plant sections, and maintenance planning plants.

For analyzing maintenance order costs by location or planner group use the query LocationAndPlannerGroupCostQuery (Maintenance order cost data by location and planner group).

Example Example

You want to find out how many maintenance notifications were created for a specific planner group from your plant section during a specific month.

For more information about this example, see Example: Location and Planner Group.

End of the example.

Further business questions could be:

  • What was the name of the maintenance planner group that handled the most maintenance orders in a particular plant?

  • How many planned maintenance orders are there at a particular maintenance object location?

  • How many 'general maintenance activities' were carried out as a result by a specific planner group?

Prerequisites

You have read the general hints about query views. For more information, see General Hints.

Displaying Your Data Analysis

Using SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, Edition for Microsoft Excel you can analyze data by inserting the desired query view in Excel. You can then define the analysis results by dragging and dropping the attributes offered by the query to the drop zone. To narrow down the results of the analysis, you can then add filters to the attributes. For more information about SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, Edition for Microsoft Office, see http://help.sap.com/boaa and the Official Product Tutorials – SAP BusinessObjects Analysis (http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-7679).
