ABAP Instance

A CCMS agent is automatically installed on the ABAP central instance. You do not have to install or configure anything.

TREX Instance

A CCMS agent has to be installed and configured on all TREX hosts. The CCMS agents must be connected to the ABAP central instance to transmit the CCMS monitoring data.

You create the connection between the TREX system and the ABAP system in the phase after the installation.
