You can use this Web Dynpro application to immediately start data replication in case of an urgent one-off request, for example if a scheduled run failed.
The application allows you to specify a replication model, a business object type, and where appropriate, an edition as the scope for the data replication. Only data that fulfill the filter criteria are replicated.
You have configured the data replication.
For more information, see Configuration of Data Replication.
You have defined the necessary authorizations. For more information, see the documentation on the authorization objects DRF_ADM
and DRF_RECEIV
.
If you wish to use external data replication filters, you have defined filter criteria.
For more information, see Use of Data Replication Filters.
The scope for data replication must include a replication model, one or more business objects, and one or more target systems.
For certain types of replication model such as financial objects, you must choose an edition.
For each business object, you can access filter criteria by choosing the Display Filter Criteria
button, and then change filter criteria by choosing the Change
button.
You can apply the following technical settings when you execute data replication:
Parallel Processing
If you need to replicate a large quantity of data quickly, you can use multiple servers and split the job up into work processes. You must specify the server group and the number of work processes involved.
Test Run Only
If you select this checkbox, the system does not send data to the target system. After you choose Replicate
, the data replication log shows the data that would have been replicated if
it was not a test run.
Local Download
If you select this check box and the outbound implementation supports file download, the system prompts you to specify a file location.
The file location you specify overrides the file location specified in Customizing for Master Data Governance
under .
