For you to be able to log changes to infotypes (creation, change, deletion), you need to have entered these infotypes in Customizing. You activate the
creation of change documents
in the Customizing table
T77CDOC_CUST
(
Activate Creation of Change Documents
). In this table, you can specify for which infotypes/subtypes, object types, and plan versions, the creation of change documents is to be activated.
Change document creation is activated only for the combination of plan version, object type, and infotype/subtype that you enter in this table. Only those entries for which the value
X
is entered in the
Active
field are taken into consideration.
Note
You use this function for all infotypes that are used in Organizational Management, SAP Learning Solution, Personnel Administration, Payroll, Time Management, and Applicant Management.
Caution
Note that if you activate the creation of change documents for all Personnel Planning infotypes, the system performance deteriorates. Therefore, you should only activate the creation of change documents for the combinations of plan version, object type, and infotype/subtype for which you require this function.
The table is located in Customizing for various Personnel Planning application components such as Customizing for
Organizational Management
(PA-OS) and
Personnel Development
(PA-PD) under
In Customizing for the
Training and Event Management
(PE) component and
Training Management
for
SAP Learning Solution
(LSO), the table is under
The infotypes for which you want to activate the creation of change documents need to have been entered in table
T77CDOC
(
Administration of Change Document Object Class)
. This table already contains the Personnel Planning infotypes delivered by SAP for the creation of change documents.
For customer-specific infotypes, you need to first create a change document object in transaction SCDO and create your own function group. You then need to enter the infotype in table T77CDOC before you can activate the infotype for the creation of change documents in table T77CDOC_CUST . For more information about how to set up the creation of documents for customer-specific infotypes, see Creation of Change Documents for Customer-Specific Infotypes .
In the standard SAP system, the table is empty. You need to enter the combinations of plan version, object type, and infotype/subtype that you want and activate them for the creation of change documents in the field
Active
.
Enter the combination of plan version, object type, and infotype/subtype for which you want to activate the creation of change documents. You can enter * (wildcards). This enables all existing subtypes of an infotype to be taken into consideration.
Select the field
Active
(CDOC_ACTIVE) for each line of entered data.
