In the Basic Data and Tools menu , choose
The Import Property Tree: Parameters
screen appears.
Make sure that the path and file name for the transfer file and directory on the application server have been entered in the
File with path
field.

The SAP system checks the transfer file and lists all value assignment types in the transfer file.

Check Log

Select the log for your transfer file by double-clicking it and check any error messages there

To correct the transfer file, in the
Basic Data and Tools menu

.Make the changes in an ASCII editor and then choose
Upload File

If required, select the elements of the property tree you want to import by choosing
Parameters
.
To display the differences between the property tree from the import file and the existing property tree in the SAP system, choose
Differences
.
A list is displayed showing you the differences in the value assignment types (for example, different descriptions) and characteristics.
On the property tree import screen, choose
with the quick info text
Transfer/Start Time
.
A dialog box appears in which you can set the start date. After you have saved your data, the SAP system starts the data transfer for the start date specified.
On the property tree import screen, choose
Direct Input
to display the log for the database update.
Choose
with the quick info text
Execute
, select the log for your transfer file, and choose
Job log
.
The system generates a list of all messages for the background job.
Evaluate the messages and make the necessary corrections.
If no identical property tree exists in the target system, a new property tree is created.
If an identical property tree exists in the target system, the structures are matched up.
