Definition

The Utilities folder currently stores the following functions:

  • Create Orders After Termination

  • Automatic Filling of Update Determination

Use

You use the utility function Create Orders After Termination if you have already created requests for sales reports, and a termination occurs before the system has been able to create orders for updating the SIS structures. You can use this utility function to create orders later for the update.

You use the utility function Automatic Filling of Update Determination to automatically generate the sales area assignments (sales organization, distribution channel, division, wholesaler) in the update determination table that you defined when entering the request data.

The system needs the update determination table if you have entered the request data or the reported sales without assigning a sales area. If this is the case, the system assigns the sales area automatically.
