You use this process to create a position.

Prerequisites

You are familiar with the specified infotypes, in particular with the infotype Relationships (1001).

Process

You select the organizational unit for which you want to create a subordinate position and choose the corresponding function.
You specify the validity period for the position.
You define the additional characteristics of the position.
The system stores the data in the relevant infotypes.
In doing so, the system assigns the newly created position to the organizational unit (relationship 003) that you have selected to run the process.
