Customizing Services for the GIS ProviderLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

SAP Geographical Enablement Framework can support REST service requests from various map providers, as long as the required interfaces are implemented, and the required Customizing activities are maintained.

SAP delivers the implementation of the Feature Service according to Esri GeoServices REST Specification Version 1.0, with some constraints. For example, SAP Geographical Enablement Framework doesn't support a generic where clause and not all parameters are processed.

For information on the constraints and details of implementation for other formats of the services, please refer to the Application Implementation section.

Note SAP Geographical Enablement Framework currently generates responses only in JSON.

Activities

  1. To view the Customizing screen for this part, follow one of the methods outlined in Customizing.

  2. Enter the transaction code GEF_GIS_CONFIG if you’re using the second method.

  3. You will be navigated to the Customizing screen.
