In addition to general Customizing that guarantees that workflow processes function as they are intended, special Customizing is required for the workflow template.
You do not need to set up your own organizational plan for specification editing.
You must assign agents to standard tasks and to your workflow template.
Note
You can classify the agents directly in the workflow definition (see
Agent Assignment and Updating
) or in Customizing for the
SAP Business Workflow
.
You perform classification in Customizing for the
SAP Business Workflow
as follows:
In Customizing for the
SAP Business Workflow
, open the IMG activity
Perform Task-Specific Customizing
.
Under
Assign Agents
.
Classify the standard task TS11200005 (
EHS: Example of task
) and the workflow template
EHS: Example of a workflow
as general tasks.
The event
Changed
(specification to be changed) for the object type BUS1077 (specification) is entered in the event linkage table as standard. This event is not, however, entered as a triggering event in the workflow template EHS_DEMO. In EH&S, workflows are started explicitly by the report RC1WFSUB that must be scheduled as a background job. The report identifies the workflow template to be started using the relevant entries in Customizing for
Basic Data and Tools
. A linkage between the event and the workflow templates should therefore not be made.
Note
You can set up the SAP system so that when you write change documents on changes to specification data, the
Changed
event is triggered. You can then use this event as the triggering event for self-programmed workflow processes.
In Customizing for
Basic Data and Tools
, the workflow for specification changes is activated with the aid of the environment parameter WF_SUB_FLG_ACTIVE.
Using the environment parameters WF_SUB_DATE_FROM (date) and WF_SUB_TIME_FROM (time), you set the time from which changes to specification data should be taken into account by the EH&S workflow for the first time. After starting the workflow, the SAP system overwrites the parameters with the current start time so that the old specification changes are not used again.
