 Creating and Changing Characteristics and Classes

Characteristics

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Logistics Next navigation step Plant maintenance Next navigation step Technical objects Next navigation step Environment Next navigation step Classes End of the navigation path and then Start of the navigation path Characteristic Next navigation step Create/Change. End of the navigation path

  2. The initial screen for maintaining characteristics is displayed.

  3. Enter the required data. You can obtain additional data by choosing Start of the navigation path Goto Next navigation step Additional data. End of the navigation path

  4. You can assign the characteristic to a particular class type. To do this, choose Start of the navigation path Goto Next navigation step Restr. to class types. End of the navigation path

  5. Save the data.

Always create the characteristic first and then the class.

  1.   2. The screen Classifiable Objects/Class types is displayed .

  3. When you create a class, you must first determine the class type and then the initial screen for class maintenance is displayed. When you change a class, you access this screen directly.

  4. Enter the required data.

  5. You can assign keywords to the class to make it easier to find. To do this, choose Start of the navigation path Goto Next navigation step Keywords. End of the navigation path

  6. Assign characteristics to the class by choosing Start of the navigation path Goto Next navigation step Characteristics. End of the navigation path

  7. The screen for maintaining characteristics is displayed.

  8. Enter the required data.

  9. Save the data.
