Managers can use this function to get an overview of the information that is relevant for the positions in their area of responsibility.

Integration

The Position Profile is called from:

  • The Organizational Assignment view in the Employee Overview Profile.

  • Position information search application.

  • The Position Holder of the Organizational Profile.

  • This service is also called through the object-based navigation using the method launch_profile of the business object PositionObject

The application has the following parameters.

Parameter

Description

INITIATOR_ROLE

You can set an initiator role that differs from the default initiator role, for individual roles.

TRACKING_ID

To enter a tracking ID for each application. The system requires the ID to track the data of such self-service applications individually

PROFILE

Used to set the Application Title.

For general system prerequisites, see the Business Package for Manager Self-Service (WD ABAP). In addition, you must use the SAP component Personnel Administration (PA-PA).
