Radio buttons are fairly easy to implement. In the configuration of your (G)UIBB you can set the Display Type of the element to Radio Button Group. Providing the values for the field in question are provided by domain values or you have appended the values as fixed values to ET_FIELD_DESCRIPTION-FIXED_VALUES in method GET_DEFINITION, instead of a drop down list, you can present all values as radio buttons.
