 Value Date and Account Determination

Once the system has determined the payment method and the house bank account, it then uses the settings defined in Customizing to determine the number of days until value date calculation. The posting date of the payment document is then added to this figure to give the value date required by cash management and forecast (the date on which the bank account is debited or credited).

However, this does not apply to payment card processing.

The bank clearing account for the bank line in the payment document, or the reporting account in payment card processing, is determined automatically from the definitions made in Customizing.
