Object documentationInternal Work Experience (Infotype 7402)

Infotype in which the system stores information about the work experience that a talent has gained within the enterprise.

An employee (or also his or her superior or the responsible talent management specialist) stores information about the projects in which he or she was or is involved in within the enterprise in the Internal Work Experience category in the talent profile. For each project that he or she enters in the talent profile, the system creates a record for the Internal Work Experience infotype in the background and stores the ID of the employee's central person therein (object type CP).

Structure

In the Internal Work Experience infotype, the system defines the following information:

  • Name of the project in which the employee was involved

  • Employee's role in project

  • Contact person for project

  • Start and end of project

  • Country, region, and city in which the project was run

  • Span of control

  • If the employee has created a note for the Internal Work Experience category: ID and document class of this note

  • If the employee has stored an attachment for the Internal Work Experience category: ID and document class of this attachment

Example

The employee with the personnel number 1234 enters information about the projects A, B, and C in his or her talent profile. The personnel number 1234 is related to the ID of the central person 5678. The system thus creates two records for the Internal Work Experience infotype in each of which the central person 5678 is given.
