Correspondence intervals determine the frequency with which periodic correspondence is created.

Use

When defining the periodic creation of correspondence, you can specify for which periods of the current year you wish to create correspondence. The system compares the periods that you specified when creating correspondence with the correspondence intervals defined in your correspondence variants for your correspondence types.

The system creates correspondence for a correspondence type if (a) the interval (defined in Customizing) for this correspondence type has elapsed since the last date on which correspondence was created, and (b) the period for the next due interval is selected in the program parameters.
